Instructions for use: loading and maintenance phase

Creatine intake and supplementation can be started in two ways: without a loading phase or with a loading phase.

Procedure with loading phase:

An average of 20 to 30 grams of creatine monohydrate is usually taken daily for one week. The recommended dose is 0.3 grams per kilogram of body weight.   

Because the amount of creatine accumulated in the muscle is somewhat limited, it is recommended to continue with a maintenance phase with doses of 5 to 10 grams per day which can ostensibly maintain the total creatine levels established through the loading regimen. We will use 0.1 grams per kilogram of body weight.
